SMMT high performance Al mirror product V95 is specially designed to attain high specular reflectance and "Indoor Louver-type Light Collecting System" application.


Extreme high total reflectance and 60° specular reflectance are achieved with the classic substrate/Varnishing-coating/Al/SiO2/TiO2 structure, wherein the high performance varnishing-coating deliver a reliable adhesion and extreme smooth surface between Al substrate and PVD coating, meanwhile its substructure SiO2/TiO2 perform as reflectance enhancement and protective layers.


A typical application of this material is the "Indoor Louver-Type Light Collecting System". In order to introduce the outdoor daylight into the indoor no light area or light blind areas, directly use high performance mirror material for a solar collector as a critical part of Indoor Louver-Type Light Collecting System is a most effective, energy-saving and also environmentally-friendly way to solve this problem. Surface Treatment prior to coating is an essential step to attain the highest reflectance. The Pure Milled Al raw material + A certain thickness of Varnish coating can achieve a smoothest surface as the base material for SMMT High Performance Mirror PVD coating.


Total Reflectance (YT) is measured according to standard ISO 6719:2010 and Joint ISO/CIE Standard ISO 10526:1999/CIE S005/E-1998 (CIE Standard Illuminants for Colorimetry).


Diffuse Reflectance (YD) is measured according to standard ISO 6719:2010 and Joint ISO/CIE Standard ISO 10526:1999/CIE S005/E-1998 (CIE Standard Illuminants for Colorimetry).


Specular Reflectance (60° Longitudinal) is measured according to standard ISO 2813:2014 and GB/T 9754-2007.


Specular Reflectance (60° Transversal) is measured according to standard ISO 2813:2014 and GB/T 9754-2007.

The Colour Values are measured according to CIE 1976 L*a*b* (CIELAB) system (ISO 11664-4:2008 / CIE S 014-4/E:2007).


The Durability Test properties are as reference for the coated side of the strip only.


NSS (Neutral Salt water Spray test) is performed according to standard GB/T 10125-2012 and internal standard of SMMT.


Cross Hatch Adhesion test is performed according to standard ISO 2409:2013 and GB/T 9286-1998.


Oven Test is performed according to internal standard of SMMT.


Climate Chamber is performed according to standard ISO 6270-1:1998 and GB/T 13893-2008.
